Typhur Food Thermometer introduces design-driven innovation to the kitchen. Its advanced algorithm precisely measures the internal temperature of food and eliminates user error in undercooked or overcooked proteins. The thermometer’s antimicrobial integrated materials help save time, increase efficiency and prevent the spread of bacteria.
Typhur Food Thermometer has the fastest instant-read thermometer on the market, with a reading time of 0.7 second, compared to the average response time for instant-read thermometers of 2 to 3 seconds. The team discovered a way to transfer heat more quickly by strategically welding temperature sensors on the probe to achieve +/-0.5F precision in temperature monitoring. The antimicrobial open needle design exposes the probe, making it easier to clean and adjust.
The design strives to use a minimal design language to focus on key product functionality and strike a balance between function and visual appearance. All bu-ttons on the thermometer have been removed, and all interactions are handled by an accelerometer built into the device. A single shake awakens the device, and auto-sleep is enabled after 2 minutes.
