The Smart Charger is an intelligent AC charging station for electric vehicles. It allows fast charging with up to 22 kW, and a ring light is used for indicating the current charging status. The click-in installation method facilitates set-up, operation and maintenance. The device offers multiple outlet options and can also be controlled via a smartphone app. The integrated vehicle authentication enables direct charging without additional preparatory steps. The jury liked the synergy between innovative technology and intuitive user guidance, in combination with a clear design language.
