The historical research that led to the creation of this book has been undertaken by the will of two companies, Bellavista and Vetri Speciali, which in 1982 embarked on a unique enological enterprise with the design of large-format glass containers, launching a revolutionary chapter in the history of wine design. Indeed, if it is possible to mention a large literature on the sensory profile of wines and their relationship with the land of origin, it is on the contrary very rare to know the history of the design of the containers that keep them. The aim of this book is to bridge the gap and to celebrate the making of the primacy that followed.
