The VISION-S Prototype is a glimpse into the future of mobility. Advanced technologies is combined to deliver greater safety and reliability, while striving to inspire new emotion through revolutionary in-car entertainment experiences.

A total of 33 sensors including CMOS image sensors and ToF sensors are embedded within the vehicle in order to detect and recognise people and objects inside and outside the car, thereby providing highly advanced driving support. Its ‘360 Reality Audio’ provides a deep and immersive audio experience through speakers built into each seat. The front seats face a panoramic screen on which contents can be enjoyed through an intuitive user interface.

The design team designed this prototype with an oval-shaped concept to symbolise the experience of full 360-degree immersion in sensing technologies and entertainment. Advancements in sensing technology have changed the value of mobility, enabling even greater levels of safety and entertainment. ba-sed on this new value and the ongoing evolution that next-generation connectivity creates, the team came up with a platform for a four-passenger EV that includes original designs for the exterior, interior, UX/UI, and even communication design. The end result expresses both Sony-style simplicity and the cutting-edge feel of an EV.
