Since the introduction of YouTube and short-form video platforms such as TikTok, video content production and consumption have reached new heights. Simultaneously, the labour market has changed dramatically in recent years. Parkside’s client Moxehub anticipates a complete disruption of the traditional recruitment market which is how it invented the idea of Revvy. - a professional recruitment platform and social network that aims to reinvent the traditional application/ hiring process through the use of video technology and artificial intelligence.
The Revvy. platform consists of two parts: a mobile application for job seekers and a website for recruiters. It enables candidates to present themselves in the form of a short professional video, demonstrating their personality and building their personal brand, which simplifies and personalises the application processes. An AI-powered algorithm plays an important role in the recruiting process by matching candidates with relevant job opportunities, while ‘Hubble’, an integrated chatbot, handles the initial screening of candidates.
To ensure that Revvy. meets the ever- changing needs of both job seekers and recruiters, a UX-focused design system and design language was created. The platform enables its users to create and upload professional videos, view a video timeline of personal and professional development, discover new and relevant job opportunities, receive video feed recommendations from people, and chat with recruiters and peers.
