Cheonggyecheon for a Thousand and Tens of Thousands of Years (Urban Oasis) is a rebranding of the shanty theme zone located in Cheonggyecheon. The shanty theme zone was established in 2008 in Cheonggyecheon Stream, which has been flowing for more than 600 years, and it was operated as a place to experience history in the 60s. However, with the needs of the times, the decrease of visitors, and the future value of Cheonggyecheon and Seoul(Smart Eco City and Waterfront City in Seoul Vision 2030), it has been rebranded as a space that embraces the value of the sustainability of natural ecological culture while simultaneously preserving memories.
