An ICU hospital bed that facilitates care provided to the patient, to accelerate their recovery and reduce sequelae and deaths due to pressure exerted by the patient's contact with the bed.
Pressure injuries are caused by prolonged exposure to pressure and skin contact with underlying surfaces. This condition occurs in 26.6% of hospitalizations in Intensive Care Units worldwide, and is a factor associated with mortality.
The unit also offers better conditions for professional care providers in the health sector who suffer from rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases that generate lower back pain, as well as in shoulders and knees.
