The ST Silent Track rail grinding train has been developed to keep rails on mainline and urban railway systems quiet and defect free. Thanks to its innovative dust and spark-free ST rail grinding technology, it ensures extremely low acoustic roughness, thereby reducing rolling noise from trains significantly. The ST grinding wagons can be towed by bespoke rail power cars and also by road rail vehicles or multi-purpose locomotives.
