Tinyseats is the most compact, lightweight and convertible car seat suitable for children from 9 months to 6 years old. It is a vision born out of the day-to-day challenges of a young family living the urban life in Singapore. This car seat range is designed to address the bulk usage of taxi and short-journey multi-passenger vehicles, as well as the needs of mobile families and their children. It is convenient, lightweight and portable to provide more flexibility and mobility for city consumers. A child restraint optimised specifically for these share vehicles would also satisfy a large part of the urban consumer needs for child safety.

The design is clean and smooth with generous corners to avoid injuries, and minimum trap and dirt collection areas, making it easy to wipe down. The seat elements nest together to create a clean, compact and regular volume. Measuring only 45cm x 40cm x 20cm, it is easy to carry and fits conveniently into any trunk. The complete safety system is quick and easy to deploy and install for any child up to 6 years. The seat can be used with the ba-se both forward and rearward facing when the child uses the harness. After which, the seat can be used without the ba-se, or as a high-back booster seat when using the child is using the adult seat belt.

This unique design combines injection magnesium technology – often used in automotive vehicle seating – for the inner structure. This is combined with injection moulding and carbon fibre elements to achieve a lightweight and high-strength safety system that meets the rigours of day-to-day share-vehicle use. The final design is lightweight, compact and flexible, making it an extremely versatile safety solution.
