Pop-Up is a light, portable and upholstered booster that pops open to become a sturdy, comfy seat when you need it—and folds completely flat when you don’t. Simply slip one in your bag, store it in a drawer at your parents’ place, or if you are a restaurant, keep a few under the counter. 弹跳跳婴幼儿餐椅是一款轻便的软垫支撑器，需要的时候可以打开变成一个坚固舒适的座椅，不用的时候可以折叠起来收好，可以放在包里常备，或在父母家的抽屉收一个，如果你在经营一家餐馆，可以在柜台下收一些备用。

CONCEPT In the early days, there were no booster seats and we used to sit on the Yellow Pages. Seeing my kids play with Pop-Up books, I wondered: instead of sitting on the book, can we not have a little sofa pop out of the book? 概念 以前我们经常坐在一堆旧书上，看着我的孩子们玩立体书，我想：与其坐在书上，不如从这堆书里弹出来一个沙发坐。

SMALL BUT MIGHTY Inspired by the Asian art of paper folding, the incredibly strong origami structure withstands 20,000 impacts of 75kg to meet even the toughest safety adult furniture standards (EN1728:2012 clause 6.17). With its 0.95kg it’ s feather-light and fits almost all chair designs. To open the Pop-Up booster pull the red ring and it locks instantly into the sturdy three-dimensional structure. To close simply unlock and fold it back. It’s REACH and CPSIA compliant to guarantee it’s free from any harmful substances. A simple, effective seat cover protects the chair from messy eaters and dirty shoes. HOSPITALITY BUSINESS What works at home doesn’t work for restaurants or hotels. Hard-to-maintain bulky highchairs and cheap plastic boosters deliver a downgrading experience, obstruct staff and clash with the interior. Pop-Up takes up no more space than a menu when folded and the second it's needed, it pops open to delight the guests. The staff can focus on pampering all guests–even the littlest ones. POP-UP’s MISSION As kids we promised ourselves we’ d never turn boring, we’ d stay the sparky sources of fun all kids want and deserve. But small babies come with so much bulky stuff that something as simple as leaving the house becomes a logistical nightmare, taking the fun out of going out. Pop-Up was created for all parents to leave the house light as a feather, with a sofa in your bag! 弹跳跳的使命 曾经还是孩子的我们向自己保证永远要做个有趣的人，我们要保留所有孩子都想要并且值得拥有的快乐源泉。但是当婴儿需要离开家时，大人还要带很多笨重的东西，简直是一场后勤噩梦，剥夺了外出的乐趣。有了弹跳跳，大人便可把它装在包内轻松离家，真是弹跳跳在手，沙发即有！

Pop-Up’ s peers use plastic injection, roto-moulding, or the traditional wood and me-tal constructions. And it’s the materials that provide the physical strength to the product. Pop-Up is different: the sturdiness comes from the patented collapsible triangular construction. Too complex to simulate with CAD, the origami structure was developed through hundreds of samples of 1mm paper and adhesive tape until we had a collapsible paper sample an adult could safely stand on. 弹跳跳的同类产品采用的是塑料注射，旋转成型，或传统木材和金属结构。产品的强度来源于这些原始材料，而弹跳跳不同：其坚固性来源于拥有专利的可折叠三角形结构。由于过于复杂，无法用CAD模拟，这个折纸结构是经过试验数百个样本而来，由胶带粘合而成的1毫米纸张构成，可承受一个成年人的重量。

One of the major challenges to translate a paper sample into a commercial product was to create a web of virtually indestructible hinges that connects the various rigid supports in an economically viable way. We found the solution in laminating lightweight, rigid supports with fabric. 将纸样转化为商业产品的主要挑战之一是创建一个几乎坚不可摧的铰链网，以可行的方式连接各种坚硬的支撑物。我们找到了解决方案——用织物将这种轻的、坚硬的支撑物叠合起来。

The fabric has a stain, abrasion and odour-proof finish new to the world of baby products. The coating - compliant with REACH and CPSIA standards - is applied with a high tolerance of 0.05mm, thick enough to deliver the desired performance but thin enough not to affect the performance of the fabric hinges. 该织物具有防污渍，磨损和防异味的功能。涂层—符合REACH和CPSIA安全标准—应用的高度公差为0.05毫米，厚到足以提供所需的性能，也薄到不影响织物铰链的性能。

Thanks to the fabric hinges, Pop-Up is not only more compact and lighter than its peers, it also doesn’t bear the typical mechanical “scars” of the traditional folding products, and as such, achieving a seamless fusion between mechanical engineering and the ancient art of origami.
