My Shelf is a customizable TV wall solution inspired by the trend of displaying objects near the television. By simply adding a few modular units, a tailored TV wall is created with the TV highlighted as the centerpiece. The TV can be centered or positioned on a preferred side. The modular unit, or the “decorative plate”, comes in a variety of colors, materials, and options for users to choose from and reflect their personal tastes. Users can also select and update the colors, photos, and other graphic elements to adorn the TV screen. Thus, the entire shelf system including the mounted TV can be used as a means of self-expression.
