Atelier Archi@Mosphere collaborated with The Hyundai Seoul & AWS to found UNCOMMON STORE, Korea's first unmanned automated payment store. It's the world's 1st atmospheric retail store. Its system automatically pays on mobile when customers scan QR codes to enter, shop, and leave. To create this new experience, technologies such as Internet super-connected networks, AI sensors, and machine learning were applied, and finally, two-way communication between space and people was embodied through IoT. Unmanned payment systems may be a novel and fun factor now, but they will soon become a part of everyday life.
