The Continuous Triangle Stool is two designs for seating made from maple hardwood and cotton woven rope. The seat, legs, and other details have all been designed around the geometry of an equilateral triangle. This form has natural shape that allows the chair to have maximum stability. The stool has been purposely designed to use singularly or line up together, forming a continuous bench stool for a number of people to use at any length. The Continuous Triangle Stool can be easily changed in configuration to provide an infinite length for any number of users. It is unique in the fact that it can stand out like an artistic sculpture rather than a stool. My design process circulated around using a limited amount of hardwood, to cut down on the use of natural resources that my stools would use in manufacturing.
