分类能力是认知世界的最基本能力，学龄前儿童在分类活动中逐渐熟悉和丰富类别知识，促使自身知识结构更加体系化、完整化。研究证明，4-6岁儿童更偏向于故事场景代入类游戏，他们渴望像大人们一样能够参与日常生活，想成为一名“小大人”得到父母的认可，现在市场上分类玩具大都是基于桌游形式，而本设计将游戏场所移至儿童洗澡，为学龄前儿童提供海洋小卫士的情景代入，让儿童了解保护海洋的生态意义。在儿童打捞垃圾进行分类时，作为引导者的家长可以与孩子互动，辅助其认知如何分类垃圾，从而获得分类的教育意义。同时该玩具设计配有相关垃圾分类教育类视频，因此学龄前儿童在平时不洗澡的时候，就可观看此类视频留下垃圾分类的意识概念。在洗澡过程中，进一步强化海洋垃圾是如何进行分类的意识概念。
Classification ability is the most basic ability to recognize the world.
