Tsingtao beer is undoubtedly the top beer maker in China, a game-changer to the market regarding packaging design or technique revolution. Nikasi is aimed to be a ground-breaking brand for white beer. In the fierce competition of the brewery market, the two-dimension effort put in label is no longer functioning as well as before. We have no intention to make a better label or a more delicate illustration. What we are trying to achieve is the three-dimension change so as to resist the homogenization in beer market. So this brand new package is made by carving the mass-production glass bottles for beer.

青岛啤酒无疑是中国啤酒市场的佼佼者，也是包装设计和技术革新方面的市场颠覆者。Nikasi 旨在成为白啤酒领域的突破性品牌。啤酒市场竞争激烈，一昧放大对标签于平面设计的投入，无法再发挥以往的作用。我们的目标并非打造更好的标签或更精致的插图，而是希望实现立体变革，以抵御啤酒市场的同质化倾向。此全新品牌包装由批量生产的玻璃啤酒瓶雕刻而成。

iF GOLD STATEMENT
Some design forms seem to have reached an endpoint, until someone comes along and adds an unexpected twist. That’s what the Tsingtao Brewery has done with the long neck bottle for its new brand Nikasi. The form is at once instantly recognizable and utterly novel. Bravo!
