To address the new contextual challenges of urban mobility, Rising Auto’s RYZR is designed to provide a practical solution for urban digital nomads who embrace shared economy while still seeking unique engaging experiences. Striking, agile, and adrenaline-charged, the concept explores a new typology ba-sed on electrification, connectivity and community with minimal contact and complication.

RYZR’s semi-open, tarmac carving ride aims to blur the line between motorcycles and cars, re-igniting the thrill of real-world exploration. The innovative centrally mounted ‘drive-by- wire’ steering control is configured to allow both riders to control the vehicle from either the left or right seats, allowing for a truly shared experience. The Rising ‘Smart Jacket’ connects to the vehicle via an interactive dock between the wearable and the seat — this is the only part of the RYZR concept that the user owns, and it provides access to an exclusive club and its assembly of vehicles throughout the city.

By blurring the lines between a bike and a car, the designers were able to experiment with a truly unique architecture. The profile and presence are kept minimal with a central spine and twin seats suspended over either side, and the open-wheeled configuration improves visibility and spatial awareness. The design incorporates a tilting mechanism into the chassis to simulate riding a vehicle on two wheels, while the wide front- track-and-twin-tyred rear driven wheels provide a more stable and connected car-like performance.
