OTO is sound relief jewellery that collects stress outputs from the body through biometric tracking and transforms them into relieving sound in-puts transmitted to the wearer through bone conduction. OTO works by generating sound in-puts created by a fusion of the wearer’s emotions at different times of the day and from a sound library ba-sed on binaural beats and autonomous sensory meridian responses.

OTO interacts with the wearer through a 3-point communication system that utilises biometric tracking, bone conduction and gesture control. The sound in-puts emitted from OTO serve as cues for the wearer to address his/her emotions. This gives the wearer an intuitive sense of the communication points that trigger different emotions and reactions, and how to adjust it to his/her emotional needs at different points in time. Ultimately, the OTO experience is a straightforward preventive form of sound therapy that is also adjustable to one’s personal needs.

Wearers can also digitally access their personal sound library to understand how their emotions change over time and can share this with their peers to build a support network.

As a piece of jewellery, OTO can express itself as an item of mental health wellbeing but also as a lifestyle accessory. OTO highlights the importance of our overall well-being and helps remove the negative stigma associated with caring for our mental health.
