For the majority of female patients with stress-type urinary incontinence, the underlying cause is a relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles. This is typically treated with electrical stimulation, in which a probe with low-frequency pulsed currents is placed in the vagina to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, allowing them to relax and tighten repeatedly. This rehabilitation equipment design for female urinary incontinence is ba-sed on this treatment principle.
Each set of equipment includes a charging case, an electrical stimulation probe and an auxiliary buttock pad. The detachable remote control on the charging box is used to control the probe’s electrical current. After inserting the probe into the vagina, use the remote control to adjust the intensity of the electrical current to the point where electrical stimulation is felt but not uncomfortable. To ensure safety, the probe will automatically shut down after thirty minutes and a prompt will indicate the end of treatment.
After each treatment session, the user only needs to wash and dry the probe before returning it to the charging case. When the charging case is closed, a conductive piece in the charging case activates the disinfection light for the probe. The device includes a timer and an alarm, allowing the user to schedule regular treatment sessions. Community physicians can also use the software to monitor the patient’s usage history and review the treatment plan.
