The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming more widespread as technology advances. The Thousand-Armed Lightsaber exhibition is inspired by the rhythm and aesthetics of dance and performance art. Featuring the robotic arm as the main character, the performance showcases the speed of the robotic arm.
Although technology has made life easier, the era of total roboticism has yet to arrive. The team chose six-axis robotic arms as the exhibition’s main focal point because they believe the ‘robotic arm’ has a wide range of applications. These six- axis robotic arms are precise and closely resemble the hardware characteristics of a complete robot. To create a dynamic light and shadow technology show, it is planned and integrated using industrial technology AIoT. In this way, a technology factory’s automated equipment is transformed into the world’s first fantastical music and light show.
The Thousand-Armed Lightsaber show revolutionises how a large-scale detailed art event can be meticulously planned and greatly optimised. More diverse art performances will be presented in the future, boldly depicting the diverse possibilities of human life.
