The Melitta AMANO coffee maker is aimed at making manual coffee brewing easier. Its functionality fulfils the demands towards a ritual that is supposed to move all the senses. From the filter form and the filter ribs to the jug made of borosilicate glass, all components showcase a reduced language of form. The mount of the filter ring, which appears to be floating above the elegantly curved me-tal side posts, harmonises with the contours of the glass jug. Closing the drip stop ensures that the coffee is optimally dampened to unfold its full aroma.
