The floor tiles are hard-wearing, durable and available in shades of red or blue. A rubber-like coating has been applied to the multilayer base, which guarantees slip resistance and floor adhesion and provides an elastic tread feeling. The sliding behaviour of the material also allows turning and gliding movements. It also minimises the risk of friction burns during falls. “The different surface patterns are not only functional in nature, but also allow for design variations,” said the jury.
