The DiFOLD Origami Bottle is a folding, reusable bottle that offers the strength of a conventional water bottle when unfolded and is suitable for years of use. When folded, it is reduced to only 20 per cent of its volume and becomes a compact utensil for on the go or at home. “The DiFOLD Origami Bottle is an aesthetically pleasing, contemporary companion made from a robust plant-based material that is a joy to use in everyday life and is recyclable in a closed loop system,” said the jury. The principle is simple: when the bottle is empty, the stainless-steel cap provides a vacuum to keep it folded. The ring on the cap makes it easy to hold or hang.
