Traffic accidents on highways are more likely to result in serious injuries than on standard roads. When congestion occurs, it takes a longer time for the ambulance to reach the site of the accident. MEDIAN AMB allows an ambulance to arrive quickly without stopping so as not to miss the most crucial minute.

To avoid traffic congestion, an empty space is set up on the highway's median strip. MEDIAN AMB uses the median strip as a track. Regardless of the traffic, the ambulance can quickly reach the accident site for the rescue task. MEDIAN AMB returns to the tollgate and transfers the patient to the waiting ambulance. With this system, patients can get to the hospital more quickly than traditional ambulances.
