Ordinary prosthetic fingers to date have not been able to provide full functioning and flexibility in movement. They also need to be customised individually, which is inconvenient. As a solution, SMART FINGER is equipped with an induction chip that senses the skin and skeletal changes of the user’s fingers and analyses movement paths for the bionic finger. The motion data is then transmitted in real time to the socket of the finger. With the help of intelligent control technology, sensor technology, dynamic tracking technology and a strong algorithm, SMART FINGER allows a user to move the prosthetic finger synchronously with the other fingers.
A convenient feature of SMART FINGER is that the ‘finger’ and the ‘glove’ are two separate components. No matter which finger the user needs, a SMART FINGER can be inserted into the corresponding socket. Its length can be adjusted thanks to its telescopic structure. Mass production is also highly viable, which reduces costs and makes reshaping the hand more affordable for a user.
