Schüco AWS WoodDesign is the manufacturer’s new aluminium/wood window generation. Matched to the interior design, the room side of the aluminium block windows is clad with real wood decor strips, combining the high performance properties of an aluminium window with the natural cosiness of a wooden surface. Seven different oak wood finishes are predefined, and additional woods can be selected. The system is available in basic depths of 75 and 90 mm. “A technically very well-thought-out and visually appealing homely solution,” the jury found.
