Food packaging

This package was designed for an edible wild forest mushroom native to China. The design had to make the product stand out from other mushroom brands and convey the natural scarcity of forest food. This mushroom grows in the virgin forests of China and matures in the natural environment of red pine forests. The design emphasizes this forest mushroom's scarcity and its limited natural habitat. The endangered Siberian tiger, a native of the Changbai Mountains, was chosen for the packaging because it shares these same characteristics. The natural shape of the mushroom and pine branches was used to create the tiger's facial features to highlight the concept of ecological and environmental protection in our design.
