Most cat trees on the market are made of glued-together composite materials and do not take product maintenance or afterlife into account. Cats’ excitement for new toys fade quickly, leading to frequent replacement of old toys with new ones. To change people’s perceptions of cat furniture, UNU was designed as a fully modular system with universal joineries and interchangeable accessories that can extend the lifespan of cat furniture.

UNU creates a distinct furniture category for pets and owners, catering to both desires. The flexibility of the modular structures allows for personalised configurations, creating an ideal playground for felines while also providing exquisite furniture for human enjoyment. Moreover, the system is simple to assemble, repair, upgrade, and it is made from recyclable material. The modular structures also eliminate the frequent replacement and cleaning associated with inferior products prevalent in today’s market.

UNU aims to champion a future of fun, sustainable, interactive cat-to-owner experiences. Consumable parts such as scratching boards, carpets, and cushions are effortlessly maintainable, providing convenience for owners and creating a healthier living environment for cats. In addition, the products are flat-packed to minimise packaging materials and shipping footprint. By using premium, recyclable materials and an upgradeable structure, UNU extends the lifespan of cat furniture while minimising waste.
