The SL-1200M7L was released in limited edition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the SL-1200 turntable series – the gold-coloured tonearm bears a plaque with the serial number to mark the limited edition. The model is available in seven different colours, inspired by the street culture that DJs have shaped with their music. New creative possibilities are offered by the enhanced features, such as the reverse play function, the pitch function for fine speed control and the adjustability of starting and brake torque. “The anniversary edition is a successful homage to the DJ culture, which has always been closely connected to this turntable,” said the jury.
